Jazz, Metal, Blood, and a Curse That Never Dies
In 1919, a serial killer terrorized New Orleans—not just with an axe, but with a letter.
You read that right.
A real letter.
Published in the newspaper.
And in that letter, he wrote:
“I am very fond of jazz music, and I swear by all the devils in the nether regions that every person shall be spared… if jazz is being played.”
That Tuesday night, the city didn’t sleep.
Jazz filled every corner of New Orleans.
And no one died.
So yeah, I’m writing a book about that.
🎭 What is The Axeman’s Encore?
It’s part historical horror, part supernatural mystery, and all vibes.
The story jumps between the haunted streets of 1919 and the haunted heart of the present-day French Quarter. At the center of it all: a cursed piece of music, a nightclub with a bloody past, and a modern-day musician who’s just inherited more than they bargained for.
🪓 Expect:
- Jazz and metal-fueled rituals
- A demon who’s more rhythm than reason
- Murder. Mystery. And a little bit of murder maybe.
🧩 Why this story?
Because I couldn’t stop thinking:
What if the Axeman wasn’t human?
What if that night of jazz in 1919 didn’t just stop a killer… it trapped a demon?
And what happens if someone forgets to press play?
🎶 The Axeman’s Encore is coming soon.
Stay tuned for more updates, character reveals, and an excerpt or two as I carve this one out.
Until then—keep the music playing.
